Ideal candidate will have a minimum of a bachelor's degree, with an emphasis in finance or experience in a back office or financial planning firm. Must be bondable and be able to pass a background and a credit check. Securities license is not required. CFP® or para planner designation is very helpful. Seeking someone who is eager to assist clients and planners and advance in their career. Must be analytical and detail oriented. Professional attire and ability to work well in a team are required. Must be proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Client Accounts Assistant (Immediate Opening)
Experience in financial services operations is preferred, providing client service, data management support, and account assistance within Operations. Ideal candidate will have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree and at least one year within financial services. Seeking someone who is eager to assist clients and the financial planner team with client financial operations, as well as detail oriented, with proficient to advanced Excel skills. Professional attire and ability to work well in a team are required. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office. Must be bondable and be able to pass a background check. Securities license is helpful.
Financial Planning and Client Relationship Manager (Immediate Opening)
Experienced, degreed Certified Financial Planner for advising clients through financial plans and managing referral and client relationships. Must have CFP designation and be experienced in plan writing, rollovers and business building. Ideal candidate will have a proven track record of plan writing and building client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a background in comprehensive fee-based or fee-only planning and implementation.
Trade Operations / Investment Research Assistant
Experience in financial services operations is preferred. Ideal candidate will have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree, with an emphasis in finance, or experience in financial/trade operations or fund research analysis. An interest in investment research is a must. If you are seeking an opportunity to advance in your career or are working towards an advanced degree or designation this may be an excellent opportunity. Seeking someone who is eager to assist financial planners and investment analyst on trade operations and fund research for large and diverse custom portfolios. Investment Analyst / Financial Advisor
Experienced, degreed Certified Financial Planner and/or Chartered Financial Analyst needed to expand our team of professionals for asset management and financial planning. Ideal candidate will have the CFP and/or CFA designation and a minimum of 3 years experience in trading, research, building risk-adjusted portfolios and financial planning. KFS will consider buying out individual planner/wealth manager or merging practices to better serve the client base if one is considering consolidating practices or partnering with KFS and using our existing infrastructure including compliance, planning and research. Ideal candidate will have a proven track record of business development, an existing book of business or a background in comprehensive fee-based or fee-only planning and implementation as well as supervising and operations experience. Securities (7) required and (24) helpful. Must have advanced Excel experience and be accurate and detail oriented. Excellent research and trading skills are a must as well as a clean U-4.
Administrator or Operations Manager
Experienced, degreed administrator with experience in operations (including internet-based software management), trading and branch office operations. Ideal candidate will be familiar with FINRA and SEC policies and procedures, back office brokerage, and have supervisory experience. Extensive computer skills needed to oversee office operations including trading, CRM and reporting software maintenance. This position reports directly to the President and has advancement opportunities.
Administrative Assistant / Receptionist
Professional administrative assistant/receptionist to help answer phones, greet clients, process mail, manage files, and email plan updates. Plenty of client contact and team support. Four year college degree required and two to three years professional office experience.
